Handpull cask at the Brunswick, Derby. Light copper, clear with a spotty off-white head. Malty aroma, not much else to detect. Taste is more complex with a crystal malt sweetness turning into a more balanced finish with a hint of bittering hop. Slight body, flat carbonation. Decent for a traditional bitter but little personality.

Cask at Brunswick, Derby Pours traditional copper “beer” colour with a slight haze and virtually no head. A nice balance of hops and malt in the nose. Some hops and hints of strawberry in the mouth, but mainly toffee and malts. Finish is biscuit malts. A nice traditional bitter.
