Cask at The Green Goddess, Blackheath Royal Standard. Nose is caramel, chocolate raisin, coffee. Taste is coffee, caramel, raisin, chocolate biscuit. Malty sweet with a lingering bitter edge.

I've passed under Micklegate once so far this year, will again for the York Beer Festival in September Dark reddish-brown coloured brew, which is a classic sweet tasting mild ale. Its aroma is where it gets most roasted. Quite easy, but never thin.

Cask gravity at K&ES railway BF 2025. Dark brown colour lasting beige head. Chocolate aroma and chocolate flavour some dark fruit some dryness on finish. Good
