Bottle at home. Pours dark brown with light beige head. Aroma of malt and sweet bread, roasted malt, dark chocolate, vanilla, and coffee. Taste sweet with a little roast-sourness; liquorice, caramel, nuts, dried dark fruits, alcohol.

Appearance: Very dark brown, some light tan head.
Aroma: Dark malt, sweetness.
Taste: Dark malt, roasted, sweet. Nice.

Bottle shared at CBC Clerkenwell during the Gunnar Tasting. Thanks to Gunnar for this one! Pours ruby-brown with a creamy tan head. The nose has rich bread, old fruits and alcohol. Medium sweet flavor with bready malts, faint milk chocolate, booze, earth, leather. Medium bodied with fine carbonation and creamy mouthfeel. Moderately warming to finish with dark brett, more aged fruits and light earthy bitterness. Good one.

Duft av malt, karamell og krydder. Mørk fin kastanjebrun farge. Lite skum, noe langs kant. Nydelig fin rund smak av karamell og toffe.

Bottle share at the Gunnar tasting CBC clerko. Thanks to Gunnar. Aroma is lager yeast notes, caramel, toffee. REd caramel pour with a thin light cream head. Flavour is light roast caramel some fussel alcohol and solid bitterness.

Dark ruby. Beige head. Pure and refreshing aroma of toffee, dark chocolate and hops. Taste of dark malts, dark chocolate and dates balanced with bitterness, perhaps with a slight hint of citrus and pine. An excellent yule tide beer! Round mouthfeel.

Nice slightly brown longlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet, caramel malts, nuts, "knekk", grass, dark sugar, hints of dried fruits and chocolate. Taste is sweet, caramel malts, grass, "knekk", dark sugar, burnt caramel, chocolate, roasted nuts, hints of coffee. Longlasting mild bitterness. Nice one, and ages very well for several years.

Bottle courtesy of Cunningham. Clear dark brown with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and dark sugar. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. 251213

Mørk brunrød farge med brunt høy skum. Aroma av kaffe søtlig fruktig og noe sitrus. Smaker meget godt av sødme, fruktig sammen med kaffe. Fyldig og god ettersmak og medium pluss bitter. "liker"
