Fairly clear copper and bronze coloured body with a thick, three centimetre tall pure white head that fades fairly slowly. Aroma of very bright and pungent cryo hops with a lot of bitterness and brightness with some smooth balance from the malts, but a lot of bitterness from the alpha acids of the hops - at least in the nose. Medium-bodied; Strong hop flavours at first without too much bitterness somehow, but a lot of candy and floral flavours and a smooth, very easy-drinking malt backbone that provides some depth, but is surprisingly easy-to-drink. Aftertaste shows the hops of course, but without the biting bitterness that seemed inevitable from the nose, with some candy sweetness and soft grain towards the end, but not showing too much characteristics. Overall, a fairly easy-drinking IPA that smells very nice and produces a great aroma of bitter hops, but the taste doesn't translate to much of anything, except for a smoother body with some flavours. Nice to sample, but not worth searching out. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Brown Jug in Fairbanks, Alaska on 24-June-2021 for US$3,99 sampled in my hotel room here in Homer, Alaska on 28-June-2021.
