Slightly hazy golden, peach and light bronze coloured body with a very thin, single centimetre tall pure white head that fades very quickly. Aroma of wheat, bananas, coriander seed, light yeast, bread and a touch of cloves and a dash of sugars as well. Light to Medium-bodied; Very corn-like flavours and funky malt notes dominate at first that sort of give way to a more pure wheat and yeast bite that has a little bananas and cloves on the end, along with some light funk and earthy/musty flavours that finish strong and relatively pungent. Aftertaste shows the the wheat, yeast, bread and especially banana notes with some bubble gum towards the end and a dash of the corn from the initial flavours. Overall, a relatively refreshing beer that shows perhaps a bit too much of the off-putting flavours that you find in some hefeweizens, but does show a good enough layer of wheat, yeast and bread with a touch of the spices as well. Good enough to try, but not worth going out of your way for. At least another decent-ish option for the middle of summer here in Virginia! I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased from Trader Joe's in Newport News, Virginia on 17-November-2019 for US$1,67 sampled at my house here in Washington on a very hot day here on 05-June-2020.
