16.9 oz. can from the Costco 2025 German Biergarten Collection. Pours a crystal clear mahogany color with a thick off-white head and great retention. Great lacing too. Sweet caramel malt aroma. Flavors of sweet dark malt, caramel, and toffee all mixed together. Very smooth and clean. Medium body. Very low carbonation. Very low bitterness. Very enjoyable.

0,5 l bottle from Zisch, Wildeshausen. BB 19.06.25. Bad label art but a really nice clear dark red brown with a more than one finger pale beige foamy head in the glass. Sweet malty aroma. Taste starts also malty, less sweetness, some bread and nuts, soft bitter hop. Below average carbontion. Nice and easy drinking stuff.

500 ml bottle. Slightly unclear amber brown with a creamy head. Toffee, roasted nuts, basement notes, citrus, dark bread. Malty roasty bitterness, malty sweetness. Medium bodied, oily texture, soft carbonated, dry roasty malty bittersweet finish. A solid Dunkel with a certain depth, which is not overwhelming, but certainly above average.
