Tommyknockers slipped into the mining camps in the 1800’s with the discovery of gold to the West. The majestic Rocky Mountains have inspired the cool refreshing taste of Alpine Glacier Lager. As clean and fresh as the rushing water from icy streams and as brisk as a climb up a frozen glacier, this brew contains the finest ingredients in the Tommyknocker tradition.

An ordinary, easy to drink lager. Its best quality is its lack of flaws, but this goes along with lack of flavor and aroma.

Thanks to Goldtwins for this one. Typical American Lager all the way. Large white head over a clear, medium yellow body. Lightly hopped and light malt come through in the aroma. The flavor mirrors the aroma but remains washed out and thin. Refreshing and decent but remains a real lawnmower beer.

Bottle. Light malt aroma - not very distinct. Light yellow with small head. Sweet light malt - not very strong. Rather blah.

on tap-pours a thin white head with yellow body. Aroma is sweet grain. Taste is Grain with good carbonation. And a crisp mouthfeel. This was the first beer from Tommyknocker I tried, and was quite pleased after the mixed reviews I had heard after arriving in Colorado.

A light orange beer with a fine but disappearing white head. The aroma is very flowery. The flavor is sweet flowery with notes of caramel, leading to a hoppy end. I’m surprised how little malty this beer is.

VERY thin looking... extremely gale with almost no head... a bit hazy, but does not look inviting. Not much of a smell whatsoever... so this really isn't enticing me to drink it. Wow, what a shocker, this beer's good! Nice, tame, almost sweet taste, without really being sweet. A nice surprise! Thin in the mouthfeel. Very drinkable due to the nice flavor of this brew, even though everything else is subpar.

This Lager scales new heights in blandness. Pours a pale and lightly fizzy yellow color with a thin white head. Aroma is barely detectable hops. Rather thin bodied and clean, with a weak hops flavor. Finish is crisp. I'd take this over a macro lager on a hot summer day, but that's about it.
