A very drinkable pumpkin ale—brewed with pumpkin puree and juice, and spiced in conditioning with ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and allspice.
Both roasted and raw pumpkin seeds are in the mash, with pumpkin added to the mash and fermenter.

Bottle/Fest. A- Pumpkin pie. A- Copper color, clear liquid, tan head. T- Pumpkin pie. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, complex finish. O- I could go through and pick out all the flavors in here but it literally tasted like liquid pumpkin pie. You get the pumpkin, spice, graham cracker crust, even some cool whip. All very well balanced and one of the best pumpkin beers I’ve ever had.

On tap at Happy Gnome. Pours a near clear copper with a light brown head that dissipates to the edges quickly. Aroma has a nice spice note with cinnamon and nutmeg supported by sweet grains and sweet pumpkin. Flavor has a nice pumpkin pie note with sweet pumpkin and a nice spice package supporting.

Draft at Slaters. Red copper color. Aroma of pumpkin, cinnamon, malt and autumn leaves. Rich taste of soft pumpkin, raisin, pumpkin spice, cinnamon, cream and mild malt. Tastes like a delicious pumpkin cheesecake. Great.

On draught at the Keg & Cork.
Pours a hazy orange brown, about an inch of foam.
Smells of nutmeg, cinnamon, usual spices.
Taste is not over the top with the spices which I appreciate. Nutmeg and cinnamon gently tickle my palate. Sweet but with some balance.
Easy drinking. Very nice Pumpkin.

Pour is a murky brown with a small tan head. Aroma is plenty of pumpkin pie spice. Flavor is again pretty much all cinnamon and nutmeg with a big hit of sweet sugar towards the end. It’s a pretty solid pumpkin beer with a nice rich spice profile.

Bottle from Mitsuya. Pours a clear copper with a nice off-white head that lingers throughout. Huge pumpkin pie with whipped cream nose. Lots of cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger with lightly roasted pumpkin aromas. Malt backbone balances out the spices well. Slightly sweet on the palate with average carbonation. Finishes sweet with lingering pumpkin pie flavor. Wonderful dessert beer. --- Beer merged from original tick of Night Owl Pumpkin Ale on 14 Nov 2015 at 21:49 - Score: 7

Pours hazy light mahogany into a shaker. Soapy head with medium retention recedes to mottle surface. Cinnamon, nutmeg and pumpkin aromas. Medium bodied with ginger, cinnamon and spice front to back.

22 Oz bottle split. Rating 1492. I really tried to find some sort of Columbus beer to celebrate this "milestone", but I suppose this will have to do. Pours a thick cloudy golden orange with a dusty foam head. Very nice pumpkin spice. Ginger bread like aroma. Flavor matches, but doesn’t have quite the warm invitation the aroma has. Another very pleasant fall beer from these guys. Very tasty.

Rattle ’n’ Hum, NYC tap: Pours brown with an off-white head. Aroma is really spicy... cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon, allspice, and ginger (lots of ginger), with a nice malty backbone. Taste is kind of sweet and the spices dominate the taste about as much as it could be. This gives a really unique taste. Not exactly my favorite thing, but this is a pumpkin ale very much unlike the standard kind of pumpkin ale you usually see.
