Hazy amber with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet fruity, malty, wheaty and perfumy. Flavor is medium sweet and bitter. Dry and refreshing. Despite being handled carefully this beer was a real gusher bringing down my overall impression. 270111

Bottle, 4.9% as Kulturbryg. Good fruity aroma. Cloudy red amber colour. Big stable light brown head. The flavour is malty, a little papery. Has some fruit and some sweet hop flavour. Not an Altbier, though.

On tap at the brewpub, as Kulturbryg. It’s a clear, copper-colored beer with a finger-thick off-white head that diminishes rather quickly. The aroma is fruity, with caramel. Quite evident hops, maybe a bit too much for the style. Bready malts, caramel and fruits in the flavor, some sugary notes. Medium body, pleasant carbonation. The finish is caramel-fruity with a pleasant bitterness. An easy drinkable beer, but far from exciting. Not that the style itself is very exciting. 100330
