RBESG 2010, draught/cask at Brasserie 4:20
Cloudy amber color; big frothy head (sparkler). Aroma of geuze, light Parmigiano cheese and puke, very light lemon and black pepper. Soft mouthfeel; some dry caramel flavor, bitter oranges all the way; lemony sourness, mild; it's a bit astringent in the end; it's clearly more bitter than the Styrian one, but they are very similar.

Cloudy amber with a tiny off white head. Fruity aroma from the hops along with barnyard, wood and sour apples. The hops came out dusty and fruity in the flavor through it all I picked up barnyard, wood and brett. Finished sour.

From tap at 4:20. Pours hazy orange with a small and bubbly white head. Aroma is acidic and slight hops fruity. Acidic and bitter with a mild fruity touch. More lambic dominant than hoppy flavoured. Acidic and bitter into a dry and mild citrusy to peachy finish.

On tap. RBESG Rome 2010. Pours a hazy and opaque with an off-white head. Distinct barnyard in the nose but also distinct hops. Rather light body, very tart Bretty notes - almost astringent. The hops fade in the finish, giving in to the tartness. 030610

4th June 2010 - On tap at Brasserie 4:20. Cloudy amber beer. Dry sour palate. A bit less tart than the other beers in this series, some white wine notes going on. Finish slightly chalky. Best of this series I have tasted but still not my style.
