Clear golden with a tiny white head. Malty aroma with hints of hops and caramel hints. Flavour had malt, caramel and grassy hops. Finished dry and bitter. Clean and somewhat macro like.

Draught @ Schwanenbrau Burgebrach, Hauptstraße 16, Burgebrach, Bavaria, Germany 96138.Clear medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, hay, straw, toasted, light hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100718]

Draught at the brewpub. Clear golden colour. Small stable white head. The flavour is slightly malty and nicely hoppy. Nice and clean. Mild dusty notes. Good, but a little like a macro.

Bottled. Clear yellow, rich head. Spicy hoppy nose. Remains dryish despite a certain malt sweetness.Medium bodied with creamy soft mouthfeel. Pleasant floral grassy hops that lingers´in a finish with low-medium bitterness.

Muffig getreidiger, etwas herb-blecherner Antrunk, der später bitter wird. Langweilig, der Hopfen zeigt sich kaum, es bleibt blechern und scharf bitter. 8/6/6/5//6

Bottle (purchased at the brewery): golden coloured, very stable white, visible carbonation; distictive sweet-malty nose with remarkable fresh, aromatic hoppy edges; solid bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied, smooth MF; slightly lingering, drier aromatic-bitter finish. An excellent, spicy Helles........

(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a medium-sized foamy white head. Light-sweet malty, fruit-accented (citrus) aroma, backed with herbal, hay-like hops. Sweet-bitter flavour, well-balanced malty and herbal hoppy taste with subtle notes of citrus; light-bodied, crispy mouthfeel; rather dry and moderately bitter finish. Another fine brew done by Schwanenbräu Burgebrach.
