Since I smell honey, I have to describe it as honey-gold, totally hazy at the end; fine dense white head, fed by a constant fine perling of CO². Honey in the nose, very fine citrus (lemonblossom?), candi-sugar. Alchol, fusel alcohols and candi-sugar built up an explosive taste, full of fruity and yeasty overtones. Peaches on rhum. Earthy flavours at the finish. Well-bodied. Alcohol very obvious, warming. The aftertaste yields some hops. Excellent beer. It doesn't sparkle with one feature, it's not outrageous nor unique. It's just very, very good.

2 years old bottle - Light brown/yellowish brew with a great head that stayed on for a while. Good body with alcohol taste a bit distinct. Very complex mix of spice with a sweet aftertaste. Anotgher great belgium inspired brew from Unibroue.

Hmmm, I''m not sure what to make of this. It has a very fruity, sweet aroma, and a cloudy golden appearance with a very nice head. The flavor reminds me more of a champaigne than a beer. The sweet, fruit and malty flavors I''ve come to expect from Belgian Strong Ales really isn''t present in this beer at all. The finish is very dry and slightly bitter. It''s growing on me, but that may just be because it''s making me tipsy.

Pale colour, thick head. Spicy aroma, similar to wheat ales. Smooth taste, surprising for not evidentiating the high alcohol content; full mouth, enouth sweet and malty.

Pale tan, hazy, good head; slightly orangey, wheaty, yeasty, almost peachy nose; creamy body; sweet bready malts, mandarin oranges, yeast in the palate; finish is yeasty, slightly alcoholic and lightly peppery. Similar to a few of their other pale beers, but very tasty.
