Our multiple award-winning Indian pale ale relies on crystal malt for its glorious red colour and toasty sweet flavours. Perle and Centennial hops create a smooth but punchy bitterness that leaves you wanting more. An original flagship beer and a firm favourite we are proud of.

Can from Beers Of Europe. Appearance - a lovely hazy deep amber. Slightly off white and generous white head. Nose - red and orange fruit both. Strawberry and orange. Taste - cakey up front, then dried orange and into pith. Palate - light to medium bodied. Crunchy texture, dry crunchy finish. Overall - this definitely overlaps with ESB. Great stuff.

Handpull cask at the Earl of Beaconsfield, Cambridge. Reddish brown, translucent, with a reddish-tan head on top. Malt smell with a hint of resin. Some butterscotch in there as well which isn’t quite as welcome.tastes sweet enough but mostly nondescript. A bit of berry at the end. Hoppy bitter finish in the back of the tongue. I’m not all that keen but it’s drinkable.
