[backlog] 14-01-16 / bottle at home, bought in France. Average wit, could use some more aroma. I started rating my beers with Untappd and a few basic notes. Now I want to rate them on ratebeer. So my rating sometimes lack some information. Just ignore it, it is for my personal statistics. Untappd-Rating 3/5 --- Beer merged from original tick of Blanche de Wissant on 14 Jan 2016 at 21:18 - Score: 6

33cl bottle [thanks to my parents bringing this from holiday] shared with Joes and Dutchdrebus. Hazy yellowish color, medium sized white head that diminishes quite quickly. Smell wheat, lightly citrus and fresh. Taste wheat, some fruits, lightly citrussy. Pretty fresh taste as well. Medium carbonation, low to medium body. Nice Belgian White.

Bottle. (old notes from 2007) Clear golden with a large white head. Sweet and fruity aroma with wheat and yeast. Also some citrus. No bitternes and with a soft body. Nothing sensational but drinkable.

20/12/2011 75cl bottle @ home - BB: 31/12/13 (2011-722) Thanks to Bernard for sharing the bottle!

Little cloudy pale beige to yellow beer, white small head, unstable, bit adhesive. Aroma: very grainy, oats, some flowers, bit fruity, coriander. MF: good carbon, thin body. Taste: malts, bit sweet, some honey and spices, slightly bitter. Aftertaste: spices, nutmeg, little bitter. It misses the wheat tartness of a good witbier.
