Draught at the brewpub. Malty and citric aroma. Cloudy dark golden colour. Small stable white head. The flavour is malty and papery, rustic with a mild grassy note. Low bitterness.

On tap at the brewpub. Sehr trübes goldgelbes Bier mit mittelgroßen weißen schaumkrone. Geruch getreidig malzig, dezent süß, angenehme Bitterkeit. Geschmack angenehm hopfig bitter, nicht zu bitter, mild getreidig, süffig.

0.25 l on tap at the brewpub. Slightly hazy, golden yellow with a thin, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, quite grassy and minimally fruity aroma of straw, grains and hints of citrus. A bit sweetish, already slightly bitter, quite grassy and a little fruity taste of straw, grains and hints of citrus, followed by a short, medium bitter, quite grassy-dry finish. Medium body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft to average carbonation. Nice!

[Muss zum Test sagen, dass ich dieses Bier gegen das vom Gladbecker Brauhaus getestet habe, was wirklich richtig schlecht war...] Also: Auffällig zu Beginn ist der doch sehr geringe CO²-Gehalt. Der Antrunk ist vollmundig hopfig-frisch. Der Hauptteil ist kaum hefig und ziemlich unspektakulär. Der Nachgeschmack hingegen angenehm, aber ziemlich herb. Insgesamt aber ist das Bier doch sehr plörrig....

Tap at Wuppertal Brauhaus, 28/04/13. Hazed golden amber with a good sized eggshell white head. Nose is pale malts, grass, hint of orange, spruce, light spice. Taste comprises pale malts, light citrus, orange sherbet, grass, light sugar, cereals, hint of caramel. Medium bodied with light spritzy carbonation, dry in the finish. Easy drinking but a little boring.

Pours hazy straw with sweet notes of malt. Palate shows a nice cereal malt flavor with a nice long malt driven finish.

Unreif hopfig-säuerlicher Antrunk, zahm, langweilig. Etwas herb, weiter säuerlich, leider verschwindet dieser Ton nicht. Ansatzweise malzig, grasig im Abgang werdend. Höchstens durstlöschend. Test vom 12.5.2008, Gebinde: Fass Noten: 8,6,7,7,-,6 - 6,52

Bottled (from BierZwerg.de). Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is grass, sweet and bready malts along with some mild fudge and leathery notes. Flavour is quite much the same in a quite nice balance. Semidry palate. Some very slight metallic/sulphury notes in the flavour, but otherwise ok.
