Cask, handpump at The Shoulder of Mutton, Wantage, Oxon, pub that is run by Peter Fowler (ex Pitsop Brewery) 14.01.11 Pours amber with a white head, quite creamy in the mouth with vanilla. Nice bitterness, bit dry at end. Good beer. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov13 3.4

Cask at the Monks Retreat (JDW), Reading. Pale amber in colour with a dense cream head; thin, grainy, body with citrus and orange flavours; slightly spritzy with orange zest and a touch of ginger; the finish is lightly bitter.
