Pours a light yellow color, clear, topped with a medium white frothy head, no real retention. Malty aroma, some grains and that’s it - mild alltogether. Taste is sweet, light and just a slightly watery body, malty with minimal final bitterness. Not the best example of a lager. No real taste to it.

33cl red can, with an AB style eagle from Aldi and a nice price tag of 0€29.

Can, labelled Karlskrone Premium Lager. Pale gold with a large white head. Sweet grainy aroma with some earthy hops. Sweet taste with bland cereals and struggling bitterness. Emptiness where the malt should be sets in after half a glass. Inoffensive but very cheap-tasting. I get the same sort of shameful cultural buzz from this sort of thing as from when queuing in a shop behind an elegant Parisian buying a pot noodle and a Kit Kat.

Bottled. A light golden beer with a huge white head. The aroma has notes of straw and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and straw, leading to a lightly bitter finish. Nothing wrong, just boring.

bottle from papsoe. Clear yellow, smooth creamy white head. very faint aroma of malts and perhaps a little bitter hops. flavor is bitterhoppy macro pils, dry, bitter hoppy balance, about the same as any other macro pils, although it seems to be slightly on the sweet side, malts clearly present in the flavor. okay macro lager.

Plastic bottle 50 cl. Clear yellow with a white head leaving laces. Sweetish malty nose - from the stickiness I would also have guessed corn, but they claim Reinheitsgebot, so... Medium body with sweet sticky malts and nothing else really. No bitterness. 210510
