Pours muddy brown with tannish brown head. Nose is dark fruits, sweet malts, brown sugar and Belgian yeast. Taste follows suit with a nice, subtle complexity of hazlenuts and maple.

Capped 750 from Oak Tree. Pours hazy ruddy amber with a three finger foamy off-white head. Aroma is quite malty with some herbal aspects. Medium plus body with foamy carbonation. Flavor is sort of minty malt with some citrus and yeast/spice. Really grabs the mouth. Finishes a bit malty, but with some earthiness. Very interesting, very unusual, and very tasty.

Hazy deep orange color, big cloudy off-white head. Grassy, grainy-yeasty aroma. Caramel, yeast, alcohol and tartness in the flavor. Not a dubbel-like at all. Sour berryness dominates.

Pours deep copper into a trappist glass. Off-white micro head with excellent retention recedes leaving sheet lacing to skim surface. Dark pit fruit aromas. Thick and sweet with upfront dates and plums turning to slightly sour fig in the lasting finish.

Hazy amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of fruits and raisins, with a hint of diacetyl. Dry caramel malty flavour with fruity notes. Pretty plain compared to Belgian dubbels

Bottle - thanks oteyj. Chestnut brown pour with a thin beige head. Nose is sweet, mainly candied sugar and toffee. Lightly fruity and what seems to be chocolate malt. Tastes more of caramel and chocolate malts with light bits of carmelized sugar. Toffee, dark fruits, and light vinous notes. Really, as this warms up more, it becomes quite good.
