500ml bottle from Sainsburys. Ruby ale. Beige head. Good malts/fruit/hop richness. Raisins and lots of toffee/coffee in the mouth made slightly sweet by a taste of demerara sugar. Excellent beer.

Cask Conditioned
Clean amber to dark-amber color. The aroma is quite simple, but the flavor is really interesting: malty, smoth, some sweetness, some caramel and a really pleasant hop touch. A great pleasure.

Bottle: Pours an amber colour into the glass. Very thick creamy long lasting head. Has a sweet malty and fruity aroma. The taste is sweet and malty, some oaky feeling too. Has a little warming and bitter aftertaste. This is a nice beer.

Clean amber color. Strange aroma, malty and fruity (red apples) and some alcohol, quite sweet. Not very complex but interesting; the malt comes with some light red apple fruitness, but most of all there is a good (partially aromatic) hopping, strong and very long at the end; the final is also characterized by a good and strong caramel character. Very good body structure.

The nose is flowery, fruity but too faint. The color is amber and the head is small. The mouthfeel is very soft, and the flavor is fruity with notes of black currant and other berries. It is slightly prickling. All in all a really good beer.

Sampled cask conditioned at GBBF.
Amber colour. Rich, fruity and really malty with alingering salty flavour. A hoppy, but still malt dominated ale.
