Draft at Sloan. Black pour. Aroma of chocolate, creamy milk, mocha and hopjesvla. Soft flavor of milky chocolate, creamy roasted malt, hopjesvla, mocha and soft licorice. Elegant and tasty.

330ml bottle. Pours jet black with a one finger tan head. Aroma: lots of sweet milk chocolate, roasted malt. Taste: sweet milk chocolate, roasted malt, coffee, vanilla, some bitterness. Light bodied for a stout, soft carbonation, smooth mouthfeel. Very tasty stuff.

On keg at OX184. Appearance - opaque black with a lovely crey brown head. Nose - roast and creamy chocolate. Taste - more luscious creamy chocolate but with that malt roast edge to it. Palate - medium bodied with a creamy texture. The finish is long, creamy and elegant. A bit thin at the very end up for the percentage it stands up well. Overall - good.

Bottle, many thanks Dunja! Dark brown color with small beige ring. Aroma is lacto, chocolate. Taste is chocolate, a bit coffe, quite dry. Light-bodied, even a bit watery. Medium, ticklish carbonaion. Nice, but a little bit too watery.

Keg at Case. It pours jet black with a small dark tan head. The aroma is big dark chocolate character, chocolate torte, roasted malt, vanilla, toasted marshmallow, nougat. The taste is rich roasted malt, loads of cacao, chocolate cake, toasted nut, light spice, coffee grounds, creme brullee and some vanilla with a dry, cacao finish. Light - medium body and fine carbonation. Packed full of flavour for only 4.5%. Nice one.

Keg at the hanging bat... Dark black... Thin tan head.... Dark coffee chocolate roast malts nose... Over cold... Over fizzy... Big soft vanilla.. Big chocolate roast.. Massive roast malts.. Be nice to have this warmer.... Great service in bat... They warmed a glass.. So i transfered some so it’s a little warmer... Dark chocolate roast malts.... Much better mouthfeel.. Chocolate lifted.. Vanilla mellows...

Bottle from Cork & Cask. Black body with a medium tan head. Faint lacing. Aroma of chocolate mousse, hazelnut and cocoa powder. Flavour of copper and dark chocolate. Thin body with a smooth mouthfeel. Soft fizz. The aroma is great but the flavour doesn’t quite carry through.
