Bottiglia. Il gusto al naso resta attratto da caffè e cioccolato. L'intensità olfattiva è normale, permanendo in maniera sufficiente. Il cappello di schiuma resiste abbastanza. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana fine. Il colore è come l'inchiostro nero. Il corpo è pieno. Il dolce è medio in equilibrio con l'amaro medio. La forza gustativa è elevata. La continuità gustativa è buona. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina e di spessore al palato. Al palato finiscono impressioni di miele, cioccolato fondente, caffè, liquirizia, frutta secca, pane tostato, luppolo e agrumi.

Bottle from Speciaalbierpakket. Aroma is roasted malt, dark chocolate, caramel, and some creamy lactose. Flavour is sweet with a moderate roasty bitterness. Body is light to medium. Nice aroma, but the flavour and thin body don't match it.

Can from EeBria. Not much complexity to this but its a tasty, smooth chocolate stout. Good body for 4.5%. I'm a happy chappy. Look: jet black, moderate sized foamy tanned head. Nose: Belgium truffle chocolate, some roast Taste: chocolate galore, vanilla, light roast malt, Palate: smooth, moderate but fairly fine carbonation.

On tap at Beeropolis, Burton on Trent. Pours almost black with a small foamy cream head. There’s chocolate and malts in the aroma, plus a hint of vanilla. In the mouth it starts off with cola and malts, before dark chocolate kicks in along with some dark fruits and traces of liquorice and cocoa. A fairly simple beer, but rather nice.

On tap at Fierce Beer - Edinburgh, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out plenty of dark chocolate and light roast. Flavour is dry and chocolatey, with dark cocoa, chocolate mousse, and earthy malt. Smooth and chocolatey, with reasonable depth for the ABV. Pleasant.

Keg @ House of Grain. Pours dark, with a good tan head. Excellent chocolatey nose, continuing to form a comforting grainy chocolate character, medium bodied. Very good.

440ml can bought as part of a delivery from the brewery and drunk at home. Very dark brown, almost impenetrable, with a ring of brown head. Gentle milk chocolate aroma, with a little bit of vanilla. Tastes of chocolate fudge, French vanilla, a bit of coffee, with some stone fruit closer to the finish. It's sweet but finishes on a more bitter hoppy note. Medium carbonation.

Schönes, leicht derbes Chocolate-Stout, schön kräftig in der Nase, röstig, Schokolade. Im Trunk dürfte es etwas kräftiger sein.
