M&S Pear Cider features resfreshing, dry and fruity favour. Much Marcle, Herefordshire is renowned fro the huge ancient yew tree that has grown in the grounds of the church of St Bartholomew for over 1500 years.
Ingredients: water, pear juice, glucose syrup, sugar, yeast, carbon dioxide, malic acid, lactic acid, potassium metabisulfite (E224).

500ml bottle. Pours a clear pale yellow with brief fizz. Aroma of pear skins and old boots. Taste starts with sweet pear and hint of tined pineapple chunks in syrup then light funk, vanilla and wood. Slick body. Although you can tell there are some cheap ingredients to this its not bad.

500ml bottle from M&S, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a crystal clear light golden colour with a very short-lived fizzy white head. The aroma is big pear of course, with a sweet, crisp, fresh, acidic, fruity, light herbal/floral palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Not bad for battery acid!

Pours clear, pale, very light yellow. Scent is fruity, pear, fairly natural appearance, with some tannic features and even an earthy touch. Taste is better than feared to. Doesnt at least taste as extract heavy as expected. Very fruity. Wouldnt call it that dry though , contradicting the label. Fairly sweet, even. Very straifght forward pear taste, which gives away it probably IS extract, but honestly not bad because of it. Easy drinker that hides the alcohol very well, and isnt too sweet or simple, unlike most supermarket brand ciders.

Bottle shared at THT July. Clear very pale light golden with soft fizzy head. Sweet pear juice, light dried apple peel, soft funk and some hay. Quite dry notes and soft weird cider funk, but itโs also quite sugary at the same time. Low carbonation.

THT July, outside of Kwartje. Clear pale straw with quick dissolving head. Sweet pear juice. Pear peels, some mold and treebark woodiness. Sweet, light tannin bitter. Medium body, soft carbonation.
