500ml bottle from Appellation Wines. Pours pale straw yellow, thin white head. Aromas are lemon citrus, light sweet malts. Taste had a good bitterness, not really lager, more a blonde. Good though.

Bottle from Novomestsky pivovar. Hazy orange golden color with small white head. malty, grainy aroma with citrus hops. Malty taste, followed with citrus hops. Citrus hoppy bitter finish. In short time period this is 2nd lager hopped with US hops and this one is really good.

50 cl bottle @ home. Rated on 18.05.2010
Aroma has English hops, some grainy malt and distant floral notes. Flavour is rather malty with grainy notes, English hops, hay, citrus and hints of biscuits. Not the most typical beer in this style but good anyway.

Bottle on the train from Edinburgh - 08/12/12 (IP trade with Craig Garvie). Clear pale golden with a good sized white head that retains well. Nose is pale malt, barley, light vegetal tones. Taste comprises pale malt, light grain, touch of citrus. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry finish. Average.

Draft at the Brussels Beer Cafe, Kuala Lumpur. Served cool, with a light amber pour, some froth with a little lacing... but what does it taste like? A weak aroma it must be said which leads to an incredibly malty flavour which sets this beer aside from other beers in this genre. It was probably served a little too cold to be honest because as the beer warmed a little, the flavours really came through. It reminded me a lot of the unfiltered Pilsner Urquell actually which isn't a bad recommendation. The Czech hops are very evident, but this beer is all about the malt. A very likable beer at the end of the day which really grew on me as it got slightly warmer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Chelmsford Winter Fest. Pale gold beer. Completely flat - not lager like whatsoever! Sweet fruits with a touch of honey. Nice flavour but zero carb in a lager? I ask you!

A nice fizzy, refreshing lager. A mild, sweet taste and although it’s reasonably strong it doesn’t taste like it so it’s very drinkable.

Brown 500ml bottle, best before Dec 2010, poured into a huge ’Judas’ glass (I don’t own a lager glass) on December 10th 2010. The brew is a deep golden/amber hue, a lot darker than most lagers/pilsners/Dorts/etc. The aroma was of grains, but grains soaked in caramel and light molasses. A wee hint of citrus within the smells also. This is one of the best Lagers I’ve come across, flavoursome, hearty and interesting. Fairly sweet in the taste, but full bodied also, something rarely said about this style (or any lager based brew, by me at least). My sweet tooth might help to explain my high scores, but this is well worth finding and trying, trust me!
