Not for the faint of heart – or the forgetful – the Amnesiac is a big beer with massive amounts of hops and a ton of flavour and aroma.

Slightly hazy light orange pour with a huge white head that leaves lots of lace. Nose is lots of grass, pine and citrus. Big levels of bitterness is balanced by a moderate caramel malt backing. Mouth is medium slick with average carbonation. Nice big DIPA.

Bottle thanks to Matt, shared with friends! Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has a good amount of grass hops with some light pine and grapefruit backed by a touch of bread. Flavor starts with grass hops but finish is much more bitter with pine and grapefruit. It has a bit of a bread backbone.

Poured from 650mL bottle. Clear, golden yellow with full white head. Grapefruit hop aroma, very subtle caramel malt. Bitter hop taste with a mild biscuity caramel malt undertone. Alcohol hidden, medium body. Balance doesn’t seem quite right.

Good citrus head here. Pours pale cloudy blond with great head and lacing. Heavy hoppy bitter finish with a dash of booze hanging around. Full body with slick texture and soft carbonation. Not much overt malt in aroma. Bottle from the brewpub.

13/I/13 - 650ml bottle @ Klaas' place - BB: 4th quarter of April 2013 (2013-21) Thanks to Alisa for the bottle!

Clear orange beer, nice solid creamy white head, pretty stable, adhesive. Aroma: bit cheesy (too cold), on warming up: citrus, lots of exotic fruits, sweet passion fruit, mango, malts, biscuit, sweet. MF: ok carbon, full body. Taste: pretty fruity, very floral, bitter hops, quite a lot of exotic fruits, grassy, some European hops, citrus. Aftertaste: pretty bitter, little cheesy, dry, grapefruit, orange peel, honey, bit sweet, cheesy touch. Very original IPA and refreshing in approach.! Different than most IPA's from the US, yet very good!

Bottle - strong citrus grapefruit nose. Ruddy gold with minimal head. Rich bitter and citrus hops prevail. Very good beer for the price.
