Cask at the Ale Rooms, Knowle. Poured a clear golden colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is malt and bitter hops. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a smooth, malt, woody hop bitter palate and lingering bitter finish.

Half-pint, cask shared with Finn after breakfast at Ritz. Patchy beige head, near-clear amber body, fair lacing. Moderate ripe citrus nose. Fruity taste, moments of orange and grapefruit alongside a piney touch to the ending. Fine depth. Pleasing. (Lincoln 30.01.2020).

Cask-conditioned at the Lime Kiln, Bristol 10/4/2016. Deep gold in colour, with a decent, off-white, head. Aroma of citrus fruits with some leafy. Flavour was sweetish, with more fruit, cereal malts and a moderately bitter finish. Fine.

Cask at the Devonshire Arms, Cambridge. Mid-gold with very little carbonation. Grapefruit, Chardonnay and hay aroma. Citrusy bittersweet taste. Decent body, although a little more natural carbonation would have been wonderful. It’s a good beer.
