Bottled, from The Drinks Store, Dublin. Clear golden, rich airy head. Appley, grassy and spicy. Dry and fairly hoppy with clean, rounded mouthfeel and long spicy bitterness. Full flavoured pilsener, but a bit clean and edgy.

Tap at Porterhouse London. Clear gold pour with a light film. Grain malt aroma with some floral hops. Sweet, perhaps a bit too sweet, with some honey and floral, earthy bitters. Light bodied with lively carbonation. Dry, crisp finish with some light booze, malt and straw. I like it alright.

bottle - Pours gold and bubbly with a big white head and an aroma of pale, grainy malt. It tastes mildly bitter with pale malt sweetness and a little grain. The finish is lightly bitter and overall it’s a fairly solid pils.

Third pint, draught. Amber body with great clarity. Only a thin white patch on the surface. Slight fruity aroma of peaches. Sweet fruity taste with a dry ending. Both sharp and soft mouthfeel (early afternoon drinking session at the Porterhouse, London, 05.08.2008).
