Third pint, draught. Amber body with great clarity. Only a thin white patch on the surface. Slight fruity aroma of peaches. Sweet fruity taste with a dry ending. Both sharp and soft mouthfeel (early afternoon drinking session at the Porterhouse, London, 05.08.2008).

Very drinkable and light bodied. There is hop presence so that’s good but this one could use a better malt profile.

Thin white film of a head. Yellow body. Dry grassy malty aroma with an underlying sweetness and resiny, mealy notes. Very dry grassy straw taste lingers. Grainy notes, chalk, a little rubber. Nice, not entirely typical. (0.2l draft, Porterhouse Temple Bar, Dublin.)

Draught Porterhourse, Covent Garden. Pale gold, good hop nose, bit thin in mouth with carbonation, nice tang of the hops on the finish though. 2.7 I had this on 12/8/06 and thought that it was extremely well hopped. Woody intense bitterness. I know that they were changing barrels so not sure if it was bottom of one or top of the other, but certainly excellent

[Draft at Porterhouse, London] A yellow beer with a small white head. The aroma is quite hoppy and somewhat hoppy. The flavor is sweet with some stinges of sourness, before a bitter hoppy end sets in.

Golden. Thin head. Slightly herbal aroma. Earthy, with some bitterness but again a skunky mushroomy character like their other lagers.
