Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a near clear dark brown with an off white head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has light earthy dark grains and a hint of smoke and vanilla supporting. Flavor has light earthy roast, a touch of dark grains and a slightly thin vanilla.

Tap. Pours lightly hazy hickory, minimal head or lacing. Aroma is roasty, hints of ashtray, vanilla, perhaps rubber. Flavor is light plus sweet, light bitter, roasty with out much else. Medium body, basically flat. Huh.
