Black color with a fine beige head on top. Ok intensity in the aroma. Medium (+) body and a soft to average carbonation level. Tad sweet and a decent bitterness. Mostly coffee, roast and toffee in the flavor.

Sampled from bottle thanks to dad. Opaque pitch black color, medium sized tan head that leaves superb lacing. Aroma is malts, nicely hoppy, some caramel. Taste lightly malts, caramel, roasted malts, slightly herbs, hops, nicely bitter. Quite full bodied, medium carbonation. Way better than expected. Nice one!

Rated from backlog. Pours clear black with off white head. Aroma is roasted malts, coffe, some licorice. Taste is heavy cloying sweetness, medium bitterness. medium body.

God lukt og utseende. God lang ettersmak. Noe skarp første smak, men er et godt og fyldig øl.

Bottle. Pours cloudy very dark brown with stable dark tan head. Distinct aroma of maæt, caramel and pine needles. Intense, stony and earthy notes in the malty flavour. Dry aftertaste. Very intereseting.

Fra flaske på Cardinaltreff okt-12: godt humlet, men allikevel fint balansert. Solbær, litt fudge og behagelig bitterhet. Lang ettersmak, fint karbonert og god munnfylde. Ikke helt opp mot Limfjordporter, men et godt øl.

Bottle. Dark brown colour with a beige head. Sweet malt and licorice aroma. Flavour is malty, licorice with some coffee.

Bottle. Pours black with big creamy brown head. Aroma is hopsy with notes of resin, grapefruit peel, plum but also dough and basement. Taste is initial sweet then strong bitterness. Body is watery to oily with good carbonation. Finish is long and bitter with notes of grapefruit, but there is also sweetness and caramel.
