13% barrel aged imperial stout with Vanilla, Peanut Butter, Caramel, Coconut and Chocolate. We blended Bestowed from Russel's Reserve and Barton 1792 barrels and conditioned it on all of our favourite adjuncts. We all know that the best part of Halloween is dipping your hand into a bag of hard-earned assorted candies and chocolates. We wanted to recreate that experience but in a way that only a bourbon barrel aged stout can truly deliver! It's a rich, thick, indulgent and luscious joyride through a bag of candy with a glass of bourbon.

500mL bottle, pours jet black with a small light brown head. Nose is full of peanut butter, cocoa, burnt sugars, roasted malt, and maybe a touch of coconut – not getting the barrels. Flavour has lots of coconut and peanut butter upfront, followed by cocoa, dark sugars, and a touch of subtle woody barrel. Lots of peanut butter and coconut. The palate is a bit sludgy, but the flavour profile is cohesive. Very good.

Dark brown, oily. The aroma has a lot of peanut butter. And chocolate. On the palate, there's more coconut, the peanut butter is lighter. Good body, lots of chocolate and again with the coconut and peanut butter. It doesn't come together particularly, but it's not bad either. There's a bit of strongish alcohol in the finish, but well-balanced.

375mL bottle. Pours dark brown with a dark beige head. Tons of peanut butter, chocolate, and coconut on the nose; some brown sugar. Flavour has dark chocolate, peanut butter, coconut, burnt sugars; some bourbon on the finish. Pretty decent balance of pastry flavours with a nice barrel finish. Nicely done.

Black colour, almost no head. It smells like a chocolate candy: chocolate, coconut, peanut butter. Sweet, full bodied, the coconut is upfront, with the chocolate; then some cacao, alcohol, dark fruits (some acidity).
Rough on the edges.

375ml (thx, Chris S.!) shared with Alex @ home. Appearance: light gusher(wut???!!!). Pours a very dark brown with a quickly dissipating beige head. Some small floating pieces from peanut butter. Aroma: peanut butter, loads of chocolate, coconut, probably some vanilla and caramel, but everything else is so powerful, that it's hard to say, lol. A bit too much peanut butter to me. Taste: along the same lines. Thankfully, it's more on the chocolate and coconut side, than peanut butter. Overall: good.
