Keg at William IV. It pours very dark brown with a thick light tan head. The nose is earth, roasted malt, toast, chilli, spice, pepper and vegetal notes. The taste is earth, light roast, berry jam, chili pepper, brown sugar and dark fruit with a dry, lightly spicy finish. Medium+ body and fine carbonation. Interesting stuff, but not overly drinkable.

On tap at CBC, pours a deep dark brown / black with a small tan head. Aroma of toasted nuts, a little roast, and crusty bread. Flavour brings out toasted nuts, roasted malt, some spicy notes, and bready notes. The spices (chillis no doubt) accentuate the complexity very well -- awesome dunkel. One of the best off-kilter dunkels. Great stuff.
