500ml bottle from William IV pub drunk at home. Very dark brown with lasting thick beige. Some choc, some wheat, some yeast. I rather liked it. Choccy beer. No idea what this beer should be but I rather liked it.

Cask (handpump) @ King William IV, 816 High Road, Leyton, London, England E10 6AE.Hazy - murky medium brown color with a small, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, dark roasted, caramel, coffee notes, licorice - anis - chili. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long long long duration, moderate peppery - chili finsh. Not much wheat beer about this IMO, only that the beers is murky. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20091231]
