Can at the 270 tasting, at the Mount, 01/08/2025.
Black with a dirty tan head that thins to a swirl and spotting.
Nose is chocolate, figs, dates, fruit cake mix, molasses.
Taste comprises chocolate, mellow barrel. brown sugar melt, toffee fudge.
Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced spike of alcohol.
Tidy sipper but perhaps the weakest link in the 2024 series and lacking depth.

ADTWD team tasting in sunny Halzlemere. Near opaque dark brown beer, small and very short lived tan head, blink and you will miss it. Smooth and slightly viscous palate, mildly dry, decent fine carbonation. Rich dark chocolate malts. A little milk chocolate. Some barrel going on, I suspect bourbon. A little bourbon spice. Smooth finish. Rich and pretty drinkable.

Wanted to try Cycle unadulterated with all the BS they load their one base beer with. Tastes like imbalanced bourbon, sweet caramel, booze and toffee. Light leather. Super sweet sticky finish. Glad I didn't spent to try all the variants of this. I don't get the cycle love. Call the diabetes hotline if in need. Tap at Churchkey.

Sample kindly served by Doug. Appearance: very dark brown with a beige head. Aroma: loads of American oak, slightly sweet, generally like a liquid American oak. Taste: along the same lines, nice body, appropriate sweetness. Overall: very nice.
