375mL bottle. Pours very dark brown with no head. Green peppers, maple, and bourbon on the nose. Flavour has a ton of chocolate, some maple sugar and bourbon; the coffee is coming through a better on the palate. Very smooth mouthfeel. Nice.

Black colour, no head. Mild aroma of cookies, cake, vanilla, coffee. Full bodied, moderately sweet, dark chocolate and a hint of fruity coffee, some treacle, timid maple, and warming alcohol. Very good.

375ml (thx, Chris S.!) @ on Alouette campground in Golden Ears shared with Alex. Appearance: very dark brown with a quickly disappearing brown head. Aroma: bourbon barrel, chocolate, tobacco, some liquorice. Taste: along the same lines, quite boozy, finishes with some maple syrup and cold coffee with milk. Overall: very nice, perfectly balanced beer.
