Bottle @ Papsø. Pours a clear amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty caramel aroma. Fruity grainy malty caramel flavor. Has a fruity malty grainy caramel finish.

Bottled. An amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw and malt, leading to a dry and bitter finish. The body is light.

Clear amber with a medium off white head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, caramel and rye bread. Sweet flavor with roasted malt, caramel, rye bread and grassy hops. Finished dry and bitter. Nicely hopped for an alt.

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is roasted breadish and malty. Breadish, bitter and roasted malty flavoured. Ends dry and roasted finish.

clear amber. smooth offwhite head. mild caramelly and malty aroma, mild hop balance. but very faint. flavor is dry caraelly, dark caramelly, dark malty, some burnt notes.

[500ml bottle from Beers of Europe] My first Alt. Poured chestnut-amber with a moderate off-white head. Grassy lager hops, strong fizz, metals and a thin watery mouthfeel fail to work in a UK-like toffee malt base. I’m not impressed.

24th May 2008. Dark brown clear beer. Dark malt dominates but it’s smooth. Typical alt-ish bitter finish. Okay but a bit one dimensional.

Bottle 50cl.Clear medium amber color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is light moderate malty, roasted, caramel, very metalic. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long to average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft, finish moderate to heavy metalic. [20091003]

Bottle @ German Tasting Ulfborg. Pours clear amber with a small creamy white head. Malty sweet nose and taste. Some fruit. Medium bodied. Dry and short end.
