Draught at København Ølfestival 2010
Hazy red-amber color. The aroma, a bit malty, is prominently cheesy (Toma, hard cheese from the Western Alps). Good body; caramel flavor, a bit sweet and buttery (?), nutty, lightly smoked. Strong ending bitterness, with some roasted nuts. Earthy.

On tap at KØ-10. It pours a hazy, almost copper-colored body and a minimal-sized off-white head. Quite hoppy nose with lots of malts. Caramel, some meat and a touch of alcohol. Quite bitter flavor with meaty, sweet, caramel maltyness to balance it, finishing bitter, alcohol warming and sweet. Full-bodied and nicely carbonated. A quite pleasant barley wine, wouldn’t mind drinking more of this one. 100507

On tap. Hazy dark amber golden with a small off-white head. Curious notes of strawberries in the nose. Quite full-bodied, some caramel and a distinct smokiness and burned rubber. Distinct bitterness. Not overly convincing, quite rough. 070510

Draught at KØ10. Malty and caramelly. Caramelly and grassy hop aroma. Cloudy dark brown. The flavour is smoky, quite sweet. Grassy hop note. The smoke must be a flaw, this is the second infected beer from them I have had today.
