Cask at Old Harkers Arms, Chester. Pours a dark reddish-brown with a small scummy cream head and good lacing. The aroma is a mix of rost malts and mushy apples. In the mouth it is distinctly fruity, but varies between quite sweet and slightly bitter. Flavour has toffee, cola, dandelion and burdock and some traces of floral hops. Fruitiness remains in the finish, along with some bitterness. Not bad at all.
