Cask, half at Bow Bar. Clear mahogany coloured body, shiny surface, dotted spots to the glassware. Inviting aroma of caramel malts and herbal hops. Malt-fruity taste with a little tartness to it.. Bitter ending. Medium bodied. Satisfying (pub crawl in central Edinburgh with mr_h, 09.08.2013).

Cask handpull at Market Porter. Chestnut colour, thin off white head. Diacetyl straight off on the aroma. Butter as hell. Not great. Butter runs thorugh it.

Cask-conditioned at the Bag O’Nails, Bristol, 9/12/07. Deep ruby red beer with a tight, creamy off-white head. Light malt sweetness and plain chocolate in the aroma. The flavour was also chocolatey with a whiff of spice and a dry finish. Enjoyable.
