Gravity cask at the Gladstone Arms, Combs Ford, Stowmarket. Tawny, flat and clear. Light aroma of toffee, orange peel, spice, forest floor. Sweet malty taste but there’s a tasty savouriness. Short to medium finish but toffee apple notes linger. Oily body. Not at all bad.

Cask at Baker Street, W’Spoons, London. An amber coloured pour with an off white head. Malty aroma. Tastes fruity, citrus, little sour too. Not a good beer in my opinion. Too many like this in England unfortunately.

Cask@Bear And Staff, London. Copper colour, small off-white head. Aroma is wood, herbs, mild fruityness as well as some slight floral notes. Flavour is fruits, wood, some herbs and rather grassy. Nicely balanced, but not very exciting.
