Town Crier is a full-flavoured golden ale with a big voice. The elegant straw coloured bitter has a hint of sweetness which is complemented by subtle hop flavours leading to a dry finish. The nose of crisp fruit is apparent with a refreshing balance of taste, a bitter which is supremely consistent and full of flavour.

Brewed using locally sourced Maris Otter malting barley and Worcestershire Goldings and Progress hops.

Bottle Notes - Town Crier is a bottle conditioned beer which contains sediment, pour carefully and best stored upright at cellar temperature 10 - 12 degrees.

Cask at Oliver Twist in Stockholm.
Long ladting small white head, very typical English hand pumped cask head. Opaque light golden color.
Fruity and light caramell aroma.
A wood tannic taste with firm body and a litle fruitiness.
Low bitterness gives a big drinkabillity.

Cask at Three Fishes, Shrewsbury. Pours a slightly hazy golden amber with a small foamy off-white head and good lacing. The aroma has malts and grains plus some hoppy hints. In the mouth it leans more towards bitter than sweetness, though both can be detected. Quite juicy as well. Flavour has malts, biscuits, oranges and hints of citrus. Some traces of spaces later on with a slightly bitter finish. This is reasonable.

On cask at Fountain Inn, Gornal - clear as a bell yellow body with a firm white head. Fairly grassy nose with some basic malty features. Nice enough, but not a groundbreaker.
