A 6% abv dark ale is created using a traditional brewing method of making two beers of different character and strength, which are then blended together. The beer takes its name from the racing term ’Springer’, a racehorse whose odds dramatically shorten before the race.

500 ml clear bottle, from Voldby Købmandsgård, Denmark. ABV is 6.0%. Mahogany coloured beer, big to moderate off-white to beige head. Nice aroma of "dusty" and fruity English hops, hints of caramel and berries. The flavour is malty with hints of caramel, honey and some fruit. Some "dusty" hops in the finish, but not much bitterness.

Bottle.A clear, brown beer with a small beige head. The aroma has dried fruits, alcohol, toffee and some woody notes. Dry, full-bodied and with flavors of dried fruits and some alcohol. Dark maltyness. Dry finish with dried fruits and some malts. Don’t know about this one, too industrial in a way. 100806
