Bottle to tall tulip.
Appearance: ruddy dark red/maroon with a finger's worth of eggshell white foamy head which took it's time to dissipate and left some light lace
Aroma: funky must, earthy, semi-vinous with oaky tones, leathery sweetness, and a light dose of acidity
Flavor: blends the prior mentioned aromas semi-tart with a substantial sweet vinous to oaky and leathery quality; no aftertaste
Texture: medium bodied, she's definitely a sipper (it would be foolish to gulp this beer); mild smooth yet tart abrasiveness - nothing overbearing, finishes acidic with some earthy tones
Overall: I really liked this one, what a nice style to have and be satisfied with.

Bottle (packaged in 2018) shared at Csakajó. Pours an opaque, lighter brown with off-white head. Nose is funk, acetic acid, malts, leather and earthy notes. Taste is moderately acidic, somewhat funky with malty hints, showing leather, esters, earthy notes and berries. Closes with an acidic, funky finish, has a light to medium body and soft carbonation. Decent, but a bit one dimensional.

Dark brown mahogany pour, medium beige head. Right off the bat I get a big whiff of oak, and some solid balsamic vinegar notes with some seminsweer dark fruit. Nice mouth feel, good carb. The finish is extremely vinous, more oak, and lots of strong funk! Outstanding oud Bruin.

2020 bottle. Deep brown with a beige head that fades to a coat. 3+ Malty and woody aroma with brown bread, dark sugars, cherries, balsamic vinegar. Quite sharp to the point that it detracts a little from creamy texture and softly woody notes. Acid only lingers at the tip of the tongue and there's a little bitterness at the end too. Pretty good in a style I'm a sucker for.

75 cl bottle @ LTM Takeover in Huikas '21. Batch #993: Produced 23.03.2020 Aroma has red wine, mild sourness and blackcurrants. Flavour has tart berries, sourness, redcurrants and red wine. Oud bruin is still not my favourite style.

Solid ass oud bruin from OG masters of the game. Apricot, tobacco and some dried plum. Solid balance here. Something that comes at you from many unexepected levels and stays with you long enough to remember how things went right in the wrong moment so well. Murky brown pour with good head. Tangy, light bitter barrel finish. Bottle held for a while I brought back from the homeland.
