Apfel in der Nase. Geschmacklich findet man das auch. Außerdem spielen getreidige und floral krautige Noten mit rein. Ein kleiner Spritzer Zitrone lässt sich erahnen. Die Hefe kommt ab dem Mittelteil auch schön raus. Weich, fast schon samtig. Das Bier hat geschmacklich ein paar Schwächen, aber insgesamt ist das eine grundsolide Vorstellung.

50cl bottle. Pours murky dark golden colour with a mid-sized most good lasting off-white head. Aroma of wheat, phenolic fruits, some clove. Taste of riped bananas, wheat and yeast, nothing special.

Bottle 500ml. w. swing top.Unclear medium yellow color with a large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is light malty, moderate yeasty, light to moderate rubber. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is creamy, carbonation is soft. Bottle @ Brugmansia/Fonefan Tasting, April 2010. Pours slight unclear pale yellow with a small creamy white head and lacings. Nose is sweet of ripe bananas. Wheat, yeast and rubber. Thin palate. Live and fizzy carbonation.

Bottle, 5.4%. Banana aroma. Cloudy yellow colour. Big stable white head. OK banana flavour to begin with. Turns nicely rough with a good citrus note and a little bitterness.

Screw-cap bottle: Golden, hazy, smaller firm and stable white head; sweetish fruity (lemons, oranges) nose with a wheaty-yeasty touch; moderate sweetish-sourish flavour, quite soft MF; citrus-fruity finish with a light acidity and a very shy tartness. All in all a decent Weizen.............

(screw cap bottle) Hazy, golden colour with a massive but not long standing blonde foamy head. Slightly sweet and dusty wheat-aroma with clovy spice and banana-fruity notes. Moderately sweet flavour with a tinge of sourness, wheat-malty and grainy taste with a light to moderate fruity touch (banana, bubblegum); slick and wheaty banana-fruity, slightly fizzy finish. Not a great one but surely drinkable Weizen (19.X.08).

Bottled. An unclear amber beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma is sweet with primary notes of malted wheat, but also lighter notes of banana and citrus. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of wheat and bananal, leading to a dry wheaty finish.
