Nomads; constantly moving, 'round and 'round; sometimes settle, if just for a bit.
Perhaps the muse moves one to brew a sharp and clean session beer, one inspired by the Berliner-weisse of old, and the nomad rests. Enjoy this beer, here, there, perhaps north of Madison Square Park, in lovely New York City. Wherever you are, this beer was made nice, simply for you.

Editor's Note: Formerly brewed at Westbrook

Pours hazy gold into a snifter. Bright white head with little retention recedes to mottle surface. Lemon pith and hay aromas. Dry with earthy hay and tart lemon front to back. Lasting dry pith finish. Nice.

Cloudy, the color is yellow, darker shade than most Berliner Weisse. Dry, sour, with strong lemony character, strong lactic acid, the aroma is bready too, possibly a bit salty too.
Excellent and thirstquenching example.

35.5 cl can @ lusikka, canned 6.1.2015. Aroma has sour cream, milky tones and hints of green apples. Flavour has tart green apples, sour cream and milk. Also some milk quark. Quite aggressive and milky berliner. Too milky and creamy for me.

Can. Pours hazy straw, large fizzy white head, dissipates quickly leaving decent residual and good lacing. Aroma is hay, lemon, dust, straw, a hint of funk. Flavor is light tart, a faint hint of funk, lemon, salt (maybe my palate is just primed from all of the goses I drink. Light body, high carbonation. Nice and refreshing.

330ml can from Saveur-Biere.fr. Drunk in the park on a sunny Spring evening. Pours cloudy with a fast-receding bubbly head. Aroma brings soft sour citrus zest. Taste is a smooth, light sour.. not too tart. Nice & refreshing.
