The olfactory sensations remind of red fruit, caramel and dried fruit.
To the mouth it recalls chestnut honey and then it gives way to fruity flavours perceived to the nose.
The long aging with cold temperature makes this beer rounded and harmonious.

Bottiglia. Arco olfattivo dominato dall'orzo tostato. L'olfatto viene stimolato in maniera normale e l'esistenza olfattiva è sufficiente. Il cappello di schiuma non è molto persistente. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana fine. Il liquido si presenta velato. Il colore è ambrato. Il corpo è rotondo. L'amaro è di media potenza. La forza gustativa è normale e si prolunga in modo sufficiente. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di facile beva. Il finale è semplice e dissetante. Il retrogusto è di media intensità. Sul palato arrivano sentori di miele, pane tostato, erbaceo e agrumi.

Bottle 500ml.Light light unclear medium amber color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate to light light heavy hoppy, citrus - orange, light to moderate yeasty, leather notes. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100307]

Bottle, 6.2%. 3 weeks past BB date. Citric aroma, seems infected. Cloudy red brown colour. Nice stable light brown head. The flavour is quite citric, clearly infected. Does have a little malt in the aftertaste. I am wondering if I should enter the rating. Perhaps it is unfair, but on the other hand it is only 3 weeks past BB date.

ambrata scura buona schiuma abbastanza persistente note tostate luppolo malto in bocca piuttosto bilanciata discreto corpo abbastanza complessa finale amaro

An unclear dark amber beer with a thick orange head. The aroma is sweet hoppy, but also with a hint of butter. The flavor is sweet malty with lots of hops, giving it a good flavor and a dry end, but also some hints of butter. Remove the butter and this is very good, but still a decent beer. Thanks to Alex (fiulijn) for bringing this to Denmark.

Hazy dark amber color. Quite nice craft aroma of malt and caramel. Good malty taste. Some sweetness, smooth, sweet caramel; simple but pleasant.
