Cask, gravity at Merton Summer Beer Festival 15-07-10 (before festival started) Pours dark brown almost black with a few stray bubbles. The aroma is great and I’m not a whisky fan, wood and spirits seep off of this. Taste is a little sour and fruity the spirit and wood shows again but not quite in the same way, I found that this lacked a little in the mouth and never reached the heights of the nose. A little thin and insubstantial, light liqourice touches, watery coffee, its ok in fact its nice but I was hoping for so much more. A8 A3 T3 P3 Ov14 3.4
