Cask at Green Lion, Malmö. A deep red beer with a thin brown head. The aroma has notes of straw and hops as well as lighter notes of roasted malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, straw, wood, and alcohol, leading to a dry roasted finish.

From cask at Green Lion. Pours dark brown, golden orange glare with a bubbly off-white head. Aroma is hoppy and fruity. Roasted malty, light chocolate and distinct fruity flavoured from the hops. Light spiced too. Lingering hops and mild chocolate malt base. Ends dry yet light and refreshing.

Cask @ Bishops Arms, Malmö. Pours a dark amber color with a small off-white head. Fruity and slightly spicy malty aroma with some hints of chocolate. Sweet malty spicy flavor with hints of chocolate and licorice. Has a sweetish malty spicy finish with some bitterness in the aftertaste.

(Draught at Bishop’s Arms, Vasagatan, Stockholm, 12 Dec 2007) Ruby red colour with brief, beige head. Fruity, malty nose with dark fruit, wild berries and black-currant. Malty taste with notes of dark fruit, black-currant, raspberries, slightly smokey hints and fresh hops in the finish. Medium body, balanced sweetness. Another nice beer from this new brewery.

2009-12-01, draught at Nya Tröls, Malmö, 8-4-6-3-13=34
Hazy amber color. It has a very nice hop aroma, a bit fruity, and some caramel. The mouthfeel is drier than I would like, dry caramel flavor, a bit dusty, but this is expected from Ocean.
2007-12-13, cask conditioned at Bishop’s Arms, Malmö, 6-3-7-3-13=32
Dark brown color with ruby shades. The aroma, initially fresh, turns into some simple caramel. Easily drinkable, with a down-to-earth caramel flavor, light chocolate and toffee, medium body strenght, quite strong ending bitterness, with roasted malt too. Plain.

Draught at Bishop’s Arms Vasagatan, Stockholm. Clear dark ruby, small head. Fruity nose with dried plums. rather sweet with rounded dense mouthfeel. Roasty and solidly maltySoem hay-like hops stay in the background. Good late bitterness. Well balanced and well made. Quite warming and in fact quite delicious.
