On tap at the brewpub. Clear golden coloured, medium sized white head, pleasant citrusy grassy nose. Sweet malty, light fruity, notes of citrus and grass with bitter fruity finish. Nice surprise.

Draught, Baladin, Roma. Orangey gold looks with a meek white head. Citrus, grassy hop and summer fruit in the beak. Very tasty hoppage emerged in the flavour in tandem with some citrus and sweet malt. Tidy balance struck. Very solid. Could chug away at this all night.

06/09/2011 330ml bottle. Ambrata, lievemente torbida, schiuma biancastra, abbastanza persistente. Aroma di luppolo con note fruttate ed erbacee, una punta metallica, per fortuna rapidamente svanita. In bocca è ottima, il luppolo la fa da padrone, la base di malto la equilibra alla perfezione, il finale è lungo e secco. Corpo medio-basso, appena "watery". Sarei curioso di riassaggiarla in condizioni perfette.

Bottle, 11C. Clear amber with a large off-white head. 4 Aroma of kumquats, grapefruit, biscuit. Creamy texture. Sweet caramel, peaches and biscuit with lots of citrus flavours, a little pine. Firmish bitterness struggles a little to emerge at the end, but there’s kumquat and pine there. There’s some interest in the malt side so the sweetness is not dull, but it does feel a little heavy in the mouth. Still, a fine beer.

On tap. RBESG Rome 2010. Pours a hazy dark amber with an off-white head leaving laces. Fresh, fat peachy hops in the nose. Medium body, exotic fruit accents and again a massive amount of peachy hops that leave a distinct bitterness. 040610

Draft. An unclear amber beer with a lazing orangey head. The aroma has strong notes of hops and grass as well as medium notes of caramel and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, grassy hops, and lemon, leading to a bitter lemony finish.
