Hvede I.P.A.

Hazy orange, frothy white head. Yeasty, banana aroma. Same turn up in flavour plus smooth caramel and light hoppy bitterness. Not bad, but I was expecting more hops.

(Bottle) Golden amber colour, slightly hazy, with frothy off-white head. Fruity nose with notes of apricots, citrus, orange peel, wheat, bread and a touch of toast. Fruity, wheat taste with apricots, peaches, orange, pineapple, bread, a certain wheat character and a balanced floral bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Tasty wheat beer with a fresh hop character. Quite nice.

Sample from tap, at Copenhagen Cooking (Danske Ølenthusiaster event @ Frederiksberg). Cloudy yellow color. Dense white head. Aroma’s: Sour/citrus, pineapple, wheat. Wheat & banana retronasal. Flavor is moderate sweet, herbal-spicy with a light bitterness (like a well hopped Weizenbier). Light bodied. Finishes with a light bitterness. Pretty nice.
