Bottled. An unclear dark amber beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma has notes of over ripe fruits, caramel, malt, and alcohol. The flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol, over ripe fruits, spices - cinnamon, cocoa, and wood, leading to a dry cocoa finish.

Extra cheers to growler for the Newport Storm- very, very cool. Bright mahogany. Deep chewy candy, some molasses, apricot. Soft, very cherryish, a little oily. Some chocolatey character. Lots of maple. Beautiful, well-rounded, only a touch of late heat.

Bottle courtesy of growler. Pours brownish with off white head. Strong raspberry aroma. Flavor is sweet chocolate and caramel with big raspberry tartness. Very different, but good. Medium body with average carbonation and a creamy mouthfeel.

Cobalt blue bomber from aladydrinker! Nose is like a very sweet barleywine; molassey boysenberries, prunes, and chocolate; clear red-brown with a small beige head; flavor has raisins, medium sweetness, this reminds me of the SA Triple Bocks I have had that don’t have the soy notes only weaker and tamed down. Decent ASA or barleywine!
